Sorry Parker,

I don't know of anything out there that would be worth even the time it would take to download.  What you need to do is research the softwares out there that cost.  Find one that you think may be suitable for your needs, then go after the resources available for it.  Many of the pro softwares out their have trial and student versions out.  

It may help me to give you some better information if you can explain to me exactly what you are trying to do (i.e. 3d animation, or 2D cell animation, Logo animation etc.) and I can probably get you going in the right direction and help you find the exact resources that you are looking for.
