Answer
Hey Jess,

First I need to know what video editing softwares that you have at your disposal (i.e. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Pinnacle...etc) Chances are you are going to have to adjust your video/audio compression to get a smaller file size, or use a totally different compression all together.  Have you ever looked into Divx compression.  It can take a 900mb file and compress it to under 40 or 50mb, easily, and still be very clear.  The only issue with it is that you have to have the Divx player software to view it (as well as a software to create it.)

Try divx.com for software, and check out this site to see just how divx compression looks: http://www.jefflew.com/anim.html
