Question
Joseph,

Actually, my question was more about designomotion.  I was amazed by your demo reel and was wondering how many editors and animators you employ?  The work was amazing and I can't imagine just one person spitting out that much greatness.  Also do you consider any particular book a "bible" for 3ds Max? My wife and I are learning from scratch and want to get a good foundation before we take the future media concepts classes.  thanks!

Answer
hi raymond - there should be a tutorial or set of tutorials that come w/ 3ds max. i usually find them quite instructive. also, "peachpit press" puts out a series of books for various software, incl. 3ds max. i really like peachpit press. other than that, i can't emphasize enough the importance of hands-on exploration of the software - just doodle, get a feel for the interface, play.

designomotion runs a pretty tight ship - 3-4 artists at any one time. i'm glad you like the work.
