Question
hi
i have appeared for tybcom exam this march 2007
have a basic knowledge of HTML which i have learnt in my junior college.
planning to go for some creativity career
heard about Maya course but don't know exactly what it means
can you please help me to know about it
or suggest some course that is beneficial for me.
also do recommend me the institute and duration for the course.

Answer
Hello.

Maya is a 3D modelling and animation program.  So I would assume that the course is an introductory course to the Maya software.  I personally believe that any 3D courses will only enhance your ability to get the creativity that you have out of your head, and onto a happy medium.

Maya was recently acquired by Autodesk, who are now the makers of 3DS Max, as well as 3D Viz, Maya, and Autocad software, among many others.  It would be beneficial for you to go to their site (www.autodesk.com under 'PRODUCTS > Media and Entertainment') and take a look at their products and product features, and get a feel for the road you may be embarking on.  It is a very exciting field, but if you aren't prepared to pay the price to learn it, it can become very frustrating.

Cheers,
Andre
