Question
When I was a kid in the 70's, the Prince Planet anime was run on tv in Chicago. I remember an episode where a pickpocket stole his pendant, and at the end of the episode an avalanche was falling down on him. That was a Friday, on Monday I found that they'd stopped running Prince Planet. It's been 30 years, and I still don't know

Answer
I'm not exactly sure what your question is about the series. I'm glad you remembered the name, that helped a lot. If you want more info about the show, Wikipedia has a small article on it.

But as for why it stopped airing, this article may shed some light on what happened and why the production was put to a hault, aside from the violence issues mentioned in the wikipedia article.

Also, from this blog I think you may be able to find a few episodes in "Starman" DVDs, you can read the whole article here which also contains an episode list.

I hope you find what you're looking for, best regards and happy viewing.

I can answer many questions such as who voice acted for such and such, or when did blah blah air first in America, or perhaps, can I get a review on this anime, or when will this anime come out. I`m happy to answer any and all questions to the best of my knowledge and online research. I've watched and read series from the ever popular Sailor Moon and Naruto to practically unknown titles such as Detroit Metal City and Tokyo Marble Chocolate. If I haven't heard of the anime I'll still do what I can to help you in your search.

Experience

I love anime, I've been a fan for practically all my life, and still going, I go to conventions, I'm on tons of forums and websites, I just love the world of anime and hope to gain more and more experience in it, and be helpful to others by answering quesitons.
