Question
i want to watch the rest of this anime series full metal alchemsit that only airs on tv 2:30am on sundays, iv only seen a few episodes of it. i cant stay up until its on eather. i tryed looking for a free download so i can watch it on my spare time. i found a torrent that has all the episodes but i dont know if i will get into legal trouble downloading using bittorent to get the files onto my pc. i read somewhere that it was illegal and once i found out i freaked out. i know i would get in trouble if i shared it online or sell it, and i wouldnt do that. i cant afford any fees, buying the episodes or troubles with legal stuff. but i been thinking of ways where i can download them and not having it be illegal, but im not sure though like dvd ripping but i dont know. is there any legal way to download episodes free?

Answer
It is against copyright law to download anime via a torrenting site.

For the first season of Fullmetal, you have the option of paying for it or watching it on TV.  Alas, there are no other legal options at this point.

However, the second series, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, is available on Funimation's website, and it's completely free and legal.  At this time, they only have the Japanese subtitled episodes.

I can answer most general questions about most series. Recently, I have been watching Bleach, Tenjho Tenge, Rozen Maiden, DearS, Kaliedo Star, xxxHolic, Sorcerer Hunters, Noir, Chobits, Ojamajo Doremi, Naruto, and Digimon, so I am more immediately familiar with these series. I am knowledgable in manga as well, some Japanese/American cultural differences, and 'ecchi/hentai' as well. Also, I have some knowledge in anime related live action TV shows, radio broadcasts, and musicals I try to avoid Americanizations of anim

Experience

I have watched anime since the mid 90's and collected manga for just as long. Also, I was a regular customer promoted to employee at my local anime/manga shoppe for about a year before I couldn't afford it anymore. Also, have done some dabbling in drawing fanart and manga.
