Anime/Animes?

Question
Hello, and thanks in advance for your time. My favorite animes are Cardcaptor Sakura, FLCL, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and I've also seen (and enjoyed) some Inuyasha. I'm interested in some of the following animes, and I'd like to know if you think I would like them, and are they appropriate for, say, a fourteen year old? (and a bit of a sick minded one at that?)
Gakuen Alice
Lucky Star
Shugo Chara
I, My, Me! Strawberry Eggs

And are there any others you can think of that I might enjoy?
Thanks very much!

Answer
I have enjoyed Lucky Star and Shugo Chara. I've not watched the other two.

Lucky Star is a slice of life/spoof type anime. If you play video games or self identify yourself as an otaku, you'll appreciate the character Konata. There's a little bit of UST between her and the character Kagemi (or so the fans say)

Shugo Chara is a magical girl anime that was originally created by Peach Pit, who also did Rozen Maiden and DearS. The main character is cool when all she wants to be is cute and girly.

You can also try Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha... but I must warn you, the first five episodes of season 1 are a little slow. Don't give up on it until after the first five episodes, and it will be awesome.

I can answer most general questions about most series. Recently, I have been watching Bleach, Tenjho Tenge, Rozen Maiden, DearS, Kaliedo Star, xxxHolic, Sorcerer Hunters, Noir, Chobits, Ojamajo Doremi, Naruto, and Digimon, so I am more immediately familiar with these series. I am knowledgable in manga as well, some Japanese/American cultural differences, and 'ecchi/hentai' as well. Also, I have some knowledge in anime related live action TV shows, radio broadcasts, and musicals I try to avoid Americanizations of anim

Experience

I have watched anime since the mid 90's and collected manga for just as long. Also, I was a regular customer promoted to employee at my local anime/manga shoppe for about a year before I couldn't afford it anymore. Also, have done some dabbling in drawing fanart and manga.
