I have been looking for this anime film for over 15 years.  Its kinds like based between "Jayce and the wheeled warriors" and "Star Wars"!  As far as i can remember (was only a kid at the time and am 31 now).  The man character (like Luke skywalker) had (or found) this sword handle that the blade only effected machines NOT flesh and many battles were involved with cyborgs!  I believe a dansel like Priness Leia and a smuggler space ship captain (like han solo if noy Hurk from Jayce and wheeled warriors) in it also.  I think was PG rated at the time.  Do you have any ideas on what this film is as driving me mad! - only film I could never trace in my life! Thank you
