Anime/Tips for a good Naruto forum

Question
I have a role play addiction, or something. I used to role play with multiple people separately, but it never worked out, so I decided to make a forum. I made a Naruto one. Unfortunately nobody seems interested. I mean I set everything up, I think it's a good forum, but is there more I can do to get people interested? I mean do I have to pay them to come on? I just picked Naruto because I'm used to it.

Answer
Excellent question!

First, as i'm a RPer too, i can understand where you are coming from. I have a Bleach website and forums that i'm the webmistress of. First i would get details for seperate RPing forums. Like for the different hidden villages, maybe the Naruto bridge, the ramen stand, Hokage's office, training grounds, valley of the end, stuff like that. After that, you need Rules and Regulations.

Perhaps a place to swap pictures and things, a regular chat forum to discuss all things anime and naruto. After that, you can run contests, trade fanart. Hell, you could run a donate to the forum through paypal or the amazon honor system once it gets up and running.

But, the best thing to do when you're just getting started, is to ADVERTISE! On Different Naruto forums, anime forums, Rpg forums, bulletins, myspace, facebook. etc. You get the idea. Just stick with it. It takes a while to get websites going.

That's all i can think of for now. If you have any other questions, feel free to follow-up.
