Anime/Why do shonen guys take so much abuse

Question
I originally tried asking on yahoo answers, but the page would never load up. All right so my question is about how anime guys, let weaker people jsut beat on them. Take Naruto for example, Sakura hits him a lot, and yet he could easily kill her, now I can semi forgive this as he likes her. However that (insert the worst word you can think of, because I really hate her.) Karui, Naruto was all, "Take your hate out on me." After he had beaten Pein! Or when Luffy and Zoror were assualted in that Tavern in One Piece, they could've squashed those people, and just took it. I think it's ridiculous. Spider-Man and other comic characters don't hurt civilians either, but they at least defend themselves or leave before a problem starts. Why do shonen anime guys take that crap?

Answer
Awesome question!

I suppose to start off pertaining to Naruto, it shows his strength of character and how much he actually feels for Sasuke when Karui gets pissed. (I hate her xD ) He does his best to get by and pushes through everything to become strong. That's his ninja way. xD

With shonen guys, most never(the good ones anyway) never EVER pick on anyone weaker than they are. That's why Naruto takes hits from Sakura, and why Luffy doesn't fight back sometimes. It's their way of the warrior, their path.

Basically, it just proves their strength of character or that they consider the others around them so weak, their like ants.

Feel free to ask again!
