QUESTION: Akire,
Hi I am a big Sailor Moon fan but I also like this other show called Fruits Basket I think I've watched all of the episodes but I'm not sure it has 26 episodes but I haen't even seen all of the Zodiac members there is 2 that I still haven't seen. Is Akitoh a part of the chinese zodiac? But then who would be the other person I haven't seen I don't know. If you know something about Fruits Basket please E-mail me soon. Thanks a lot!

ANSWER: Akito is part of the zodiac, and the leader of the family. Unfortunately for Fruits Basket it is another one of those instances of an anime series being cut short while the manga continues. Basically the anime is finished and will most likely never continue; however, the manga is the original storyline and continues long after the anime. The manga series itself is complete as of about 2 years ago and is still being translated into English and being distributed by Viz in the U.S.

I'm not bothered at all.
And it is my mistake, as doing some further research (since I have yet to finish the manga or anime, though I am familiar with the storyline) it seems that Akito isn't part of the zodiac, though head of the family, Akito does not have an animal to be represented by.
