Question
Can I plant coliuses in full hot sun

Answer
Theresa, I would not recommend it. Coleus do best in partial shade. The full sun will bleach the colors, which of course is the main feature of the foliage. They also do not like excessive heat. That is why you also need to mulch around the plants with shredded leaves or bark to help cool the soil and retain moisture.

Good luck, and please write again if I can ever be of assistance.
