Question
Two weeks ago we bought 12 Petunia Plants from a nursery and put them in hanging pots.  The origanl flowers have died off but no new ones are coming in.  The green part of the plants look nice and healthy but no flowers.  They get sun to part shade during the course of the day.  Your thoughts on why no flowers - Thanks

Answer
Many varieties of petunias must be pruned back in order to rebloom. Once the flowers are spent, prune the plants back by one third. This will stimulate the plants to set new blooms. It normally takes 10-14 days following the pruning before you will see new flowers.

Good luck, and please write again if I can ever be of assistance.

Mike
