Question
I know they need to be deadheaded but do I cut them back to be shorter now that I put them in a pot?  They are very tall.....were on sale at the greenhouse.

Answer
Rose, I always cut mine back by one third. This promote a bushier growth habit with increased blooms. Keep in mind, it will take 10 days for the plant to rebloom.

I hope this answered your question. Please write again if I can ever provide assistance.
