The good thing about the Bogenvia plant is that you can cut it down to about nothing, and a year later its bigger than it was before.  Now, this is just experience with the bush, but even when you try to kill it, it still makes a comeback.  We transplanted over 100 of these last fall, and this fall, they're so beautiful.  we trimmed them down to the root ball.
