Question
I used to weigh over 300 pounds, then got e-coli and lost about 12 pounds through not eating because I was sick. Well, I saw that weight loss and continued not eating until now I weigh 190 pounds. Pretty much it's gotten to the point where I set my limits at about 600 calories a day, but usually I only get in 200-300 and on some days only 100. The thought of food is nasty, seeing people eat reminds me of pigs at a trough, and my only forseen purpose for eating is to get fat. So would I count as anorexic?

I can't tell you for sure that you have one eating disorder or another as I'm not in a position to do so.  There are a number of criteria that are used to diagnose a person with anorexia, however it does sound most likely that you are suffering from an eating disorder, and would recommend that you visit your Dr to be assessed, and possibly diagnosed.

Eating disorders are very dangerous illnesses, and I would recommend that you visit you doctor soon and ask about possible treatment.

Eating as few calories as you are is classed as a starvation diet, and there a number of health risks associated with following such a diet.

Please think about getting help as soon as possible.  Eating disorders can be fatal, however, treatment is more successful the sooner it is sought!

All the best

Expertise

I am a medical student and have suffered from anorexia and bulimia myself, I am willing to answer questions based on my own experiences. My advice, however, should not be used as a substitute for that of a qualified medical professional.

Experience

I suffered from anorexia from the age of about 10. By the age of 13 I was suffering from bulimia. Now after 10 years of suffering from an eating disorder, I feel that I can say that I'm well on my way with recovery and would just like to be able to share what I have learned with those in similar situations!
