Anorexia/Eating Disorders/anorexia:weight gain

Question
I just recently came out of a treatment program at a healthy weight. I had to gain weight in a short time, and now I feel gross and disgusting in my body. I was told that my body will redistribute the weight but it seems like all I gained was fat and that is disturbing. I am currently fighting the ED voices day after day but it feels like I will never feel good about myself. I'm wondering if my weight will even out and if later exercise will help me turn fat into mucsle. Thanks for your help.

Answer
You are so use to being abnormally under wieght, that now that you have put on some very much needed healthy wieght, you feel fat. Totally understandable and expected. However, this is the hardest part. As you begin to get use to this wieght that you should be at, it will start to feel very normal for you. Yes, excersise will help imensly. You can tone up and look even more healthy, but try not to over do it. Eat plenty of healthy foods and work out, and you will be just fine.
