Question
hello!
im Zack im a fourteen year old boy...

i currently eat 1000 calories aday, i used to eat 300.
i would not say i have an eating disorder now. however in the past i reconise
i did.

im completly obsessed with calories and healthy eating. i drink lots of water
and have three meals a day.

this is what my average daily food intake looks like

breakfast
1 glass of water
1 cup of coffee (black)
45g of readybreak oats
225ml of semi skimmed milk
6g of raisens

Lunch:
what i eat vairys, ends up being 250 -300 calories

tea:
agein what i eat variys but it will be between 350-400

i dont snack.

im contemplating raising my calorie intake to 1200 calories but i dont lead an
active life style (i sit at the computer alot!)

im scared that if i raise my calorie intake ill put on weight and get fat!

so my question is this.......

if i did nothing but lie in bed, and i ate 1200 calories would i put on weight?

im sorry if this seems like a stupid question, and id like to say thankyou for
reading this and id be so greatfull if you could help me :)

thanks bye x

Answer
most likely you wouldn't gain any weight. Your body requires a certain amount of calories to carry out daily activities (inside the body)... i.e. heart pumping, kidney's functioning, lungs breathing for you, etc.

It would also depend on the food that you were taking in.
