Question
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is an eating disorter, but it seems that I've been eating LOTS of food, healthy and un-healthy, My question is, is it an eating distorter if you eat lots of food but gain NOTHING?
I've been 115lbs for about 3yrs, and I'm not the "healthiest" eater in the world, but I do work out.
Please answer this(:

Answer
No that doesnt sound like an eating disorder. An eating disorder would be if you're constantly reading calories on food packaging and excercising over and beyond what the average person does. Sounds like if you're needing to gain weight for your height I would suggest seeing a doctor because that could be something an endocrinologist would be able to diagnose why you're not able to put on a significant amount of weight for your height. I would talk to your physician about why you're stuck at the same weight for 3 years he/she might be able to pinpoint why this happens and give you options on what you can do to manage weight gaining or losing so that you're healthy and not gaining too much or losing too little.
