Question
I constantly throw up after eating a large number of food.. This is something that I do partly voluntary, meaning that I feel sth is wrong with my stomach, then I end up vomiting. However, I never try to force myself by sticking my fingers on my throat or in any physical way.. I'm quite conscious about my body weight and I usually eat a lot. I'm seriously worried that I may be a bulimic or have an eating disorder..  Can you give me any suggestion? I've once visited a doctor and she told me that my digestive system is 'sensitive'. Still, I'm also worried if I'm actually throwing up because I unconsciously think about my weight etc.. Thanks so much for your help..

Answer
OK. I have red and reread your question several times trying to determine how to give you an appropriate answer. Have you ever had any type of scopes or radiology studies on your digestive tract. There are certain digestive disorders that can cause nausea or fullness ("pit in the stomach" feeling) after eating (ulcers, slow digestion meaning gastroparesis, etc). Most people with bulimia are quite aware that their eating habits are abnormal, and often try to hide their behaviors because they feel guilty and ashamed. It seems as thought you are genuinely concerned and frustrated... It might not be a bad idea for you to seek the opinion of a gastroenterologist.
