Question
Im currently trying to lose weight, and am using most methods so this isnt my ONLY method. But i just wanted to know if you can give me any factual information about the dangers of diet pills, i only tend to buy cheap ones because i have a habbit of taking between 30-60 all at once. The only reactions iv had to binging on the tablets are feeling a little dizzy a little weak, and quite sick. but nothing serious. And was wandering if maybe one day something bad could happen, or whether its more likely to just gradually effect me. Also iv been considering taking tablets to help me loose water weight, i know your not going to approve of that, but again i would like to know the dangers. Just so i know what im dealing with.

Thanx

Answer
The use of diet pills, especially in the amount that you are indicating, is very dangerous and can lead not only to infertility in the future, but can cause severe, potentially fatal, heart problems including but not limited to arrhythmias that can cause cardiac arrest. Diuretics (water pills), can lead to dehydration which can cause arrythmias, and can also be a contributing factor in the formation of kidney stones. They can also cause severe electrolyte imbalances.
