Question
QUESTION: I used to be anexoric.  I am 5'3 and used to be 85 pounds now I am about 115.  I go to the gym 6 days a week and do cardio for 60 minutes.  I can not seem to lose weight like I used to.  I am on a low arb diet like i always was.  I am wondering why?  Please help me...

ANSWER: Dear Kate,
If you are 5'3", weigh 115 and want to lose weight, you are still thinking like an anorexic. You might want to check with a nutritionist to determine your ideal weight. Perhaps a low carb diet is not appropriate when you are exercising so much. So, I suggest you contact a nutritionist.

QUESTION: I was also wondering if doing over 60 minutes on the treadmill of walking or jogging is effective after 60 minutes?

Answer
Kate, have you checked with whomever treated your anorexia before developing an exercise program? You could be using exercise as a form of bulimia. Often, when we start dealing with one addiction, others pop up, like exercise.
