Anorexia/Eating Disorders/Bloodshot eyes.

Question
I have anorexia, and my doctor said that my immune system, followed by my kidneys and other vital organs will shut down if I don't seek treatment. I have no desire for treatment whatsoever, and will fight anyone who tries to give it to me. I never, EVER get sick, but recently I've gotten an ear infection and a sore threat, which I think is the beginning stages of my immune system failing and shutting down. Today, I woke up with one eye completely white, bright and otherwise beautiful, but the other one was a tad crusted and extremely bloodshot. What could do that to my eyes? I have a feeling it's something from my eating disorder, but I don't know HOW or WHY it's there.

Answer
I don't like saying this, but you are slowly killing yourself and what your doctor said is that your body is compromised as a result of the damage from your eating disorder. I can't stress this enough you need to seek treatment because this sounds serious if you're having cold and flu like symptoms like ear infections and sore throats this is not good. If one of your eyes is crusted and bloodshot that's a sign you have pink eye since that's typical of pink eye to look like that. Please seek some help and here's a website you can go to for resources to seek appropriate treatment it's Something-fishy.org and you can look up appropriate counseling and resources to help you with treating your eating disorder.
