QuestionQUESTION: Hi!
My name is Loren and I'm a 14 yr old. Lately i have been losing weight, im about 163cms tall and I just checked the scales and im in at 60.4, i would be happy with that. But the way i live my life style im not sure that it should be this way. Almost all of last year i was about 64.5 or 63.4 and never much lower. Im a vegetarian but i don't eat real meals that often as the are all microwave, i miss breakfast often and don't bring food to school. I ether buy my lunch or sell my friends food because my mum wont buy almost any thing for me. (my friends always have a small packet off chips, not to heathy) also i pig out on chips and fizzy drinks. I know this all sounds bad but i feel fine and last time i went to the doc to get this stuff checked everything including my iorn where fine. Almost like my body inst a wear of it's diet. I don't play any sports ether (an less you count going to school cuz there is soooo much work involving in my walk 2 and from the bus stops and the schools 3 stories school)
So my question is after hearing my life style do you thing 60.4 is a healthy weigh for me?
thanks for your time Loren =D
ANSWER: I am not sure how to equate your CM's to pounds, the measure we use in the United States. Where do you live?
If you have access to the Internet, I'd like you to visit the website for Overeaters Anonymous. They really help with the constant worrying about food, eating, dieting and weight. Their website is www.oa.org. You can write to other teens for support and there may be OA meetings in your area, depending on where you live.
I hope this helps you a little.
Sincerely,

AnswerYou are welcome, Loren. I hope that you find your answers in Overeaters Anonymous. Please email me if you have any questions after you visit that sight. Often, our problems are not so much with what we weigh, but how we feel about that weight. OA can help you with your thinking.
Sincerely,
