Question
Hi!

I have a question regarding a problem that my girlfriend has. She says she doesn't feel like eating at all, and eating makes her throw up immediately. She used to have days when she didnt eat once in a while but it has been like this since the last 4 days. She also feels not hungry at all.

What could be a reason for such behaviour?

Thanks!

Answer
My advice to you is that she needs help right away because if she's vomiting after eating and she didnt force herself to. Reasons for bulimia could be stress, trauma, and other issues like abuse that can trigger eating disorders. I would look at getting her some help so she can begin to resolve this problem because I am sure it's putting a strain on your relationship. Eating disorders are complex problems that only a doctor can really give you insight on and to advice on what to do medically. If this is a huge concern sit down with your gf's parents and talk about this because this is a serious problem that needs to be addressed ASAP.
