Anorexia/Eating Disorders/periods after anorexia

Question
Okay, I'm nearly fifteen years old and I still haven't had my period.  I dealt with anorexia when I was 12, going from a healthy weight of 100 pounds(standing at 5'), to a mere 78 pounds in a period of a couple months.  I now stand at 5'2 ish and weigh 120 pounds, a healthy weight, but still no period.  Is that normal?

Answer
Jenny- don't worry, the major shift in body weight right at a time when your body was wanting to start the maturation process could have caused the delay.  I'd check with my doctor though.  You are at the age when you should begin talking with your doctor about your reproductive health and this may be a good first step in beginning that doctor/patient relationship and dialog.
