Question
Today I had pancakes with syrup and when i was done i had a really bad taste in my mouth. so i looked at the date on the syrup and it was 2 years old. Should i go to the doctor or no?

Answer
Most food poisoning happens within 2-6 hrs of ingesting contaminated food. If you feel sick, be seen by a physician soon. I'm guessing a food like pancake syrup would just taste not so good after its expiration date and not pose much of a threat of foodborne pathogens.
