Anorexia/Eating Disorders/too skinny

Question
I'm not anorexic, but I am 5'8 14 years old and only weigh 116-117lbs, people think I look way too skinny and like i have a ed. Am I underweight?

Answer
Well without knowing your body composition I'd have to say that around 120 lbs is more appropriate. It doesn't sound like much either way, but keep in mind that for you a 10 lb difference is almost 10% of you body weight. That would be the same as a 200 lb guy getting down to 180 lb. If you seem to have to "try" to stay at 116, that's a sign your body would like to be a little more.
