Question
Hi
I have a question about my friend. I don't know if I should be worried or not. A few months ago she stopped eating lunch. Than just today she told me she hadn't eaten anything since Tuesday and hardly drank anything. She just can't eat suddenly she just doesn't want too. She's not worried about her weight and she looks the same. She's 16.

I have another question about my mom she sometimes gets stressed and eats all the cookies and stuff. She tries to lose weight but can't. Other days she 'forgets' to eat breakfast lunch or both. I want to help her but I don't know how.

I want to help my friend too. Thanks for reading my questions.

Answer
Hi R,

I am so sorry you are going through this. Unfortunately, you can't help people who won't admit they have a problem and/or don't want help. It sounds as though both your mom and your friend need help, but you can't force either of them to do so. Have you tried telling them that you are worried about their behaviors?
