Anorexia/Eating Disorders/ice eating habit

I have been eating ice since 6 years. i am now 20 year old but i can not control my self to eating ice.I also used to crave crushed ice, eating it daily, summer and winter, many pounds of it on a weekly basis...
Please suggest me something and tell me, how can i stop this

I would need to know more about your situation to really form a better opinion.  I'm guessing that for some reason either ice is "allowed" or a "food" that is not threatening because it has no caloric value, or that it could be a way of distracting yourself from anxiety or other feelings you may be having?  What is it's purpose?  Why are you relacing somthing in your life with ice?  Is it pacifying some other feelings?

I can answer questions specifically geared towards athletes and their eating issues. I would be able to assist parents or coaches with questions or concerns about disordered eating practices often found in the exercise and sports settings. I also have experience in training and conditioning so I am in a position to discus how the two interrelate.
