Question
i exercise like crazy around 3-4 hours a day and eat a tiny 1 meal a day and just recently seep to be gainning weight to me and having excess skin hanging everywhere. how can i get rid of this skin and lose about the 1kg of excess skin i have got all in a week.

Answer
What you are doing is very unhealthy and can cause health problems.  If you are not eating enough compared with the energy that you are burning, you will be losing lean muscle tissue rather than fat.

If you lose a lot of weight quickly, especially if you were slightly overweight to begin with (I don't know if you were), you may have stretched the skin to a point that it has lost its elasticity, and therefore does not have the ability to go back.  It may remain as loose skin.

You will not be able to resolve this in a week!  I think that if this is a major problem, the only solution to it is surgery to remove the excess skin.  I'm not sure how bad your excess skin is, but no amount of dieting or exercising is going to improve that I'm afraid.

I recommend that you go and speak to your Dr about this and see what they suggest.  I can't tell how bad this is over the net, so you are better going and speaking to someone qualified and getting their expert advice!  Plus, if you believe that you have anorexic habits, you may need to address these as well.

I'm sorry that I can not be of more help, but I am unable to give advice on how to lose weight, or the excess skin.  I'm here to be able to help those that are suffering from eating disorders and are looking for someone to turn to for advice.  If you wish to come back and ask about anything else, please do so, but I'm really sorry that I can't answer this one!

All the best,
Holly

Expertise

I am a medical student and have suffered from anorexia and bulimia myself, I am willing to answer questions based on my own experiences. My advice, however, should not be used as a substitute for that of a qualified medical professional.

Experience

I suffered from anorexia from the age of about 10. By the age of 13 I was suffering from bulimia. Now after 10 years of suffering from an eating disorder, I feel that I can say that I'm well on my way with recovery and would just like to be able to share what I have learned with those in similar situations!
