I'm sorry that I've taken a couple of days to reply to this. I'm afraid to say that I'm not sure of what you are actually trying to tell me. Her legs have expanded, do you mean that she has put on weight on her legs or what?
I'm sorry that I can't answer your question just now. I was hoping that you could contact me again, and explain this to me slightly more, just so I know exactly where you are coming from.

AnswerI think that you should get your daughter to a Dr as soon as possible. Anorexia can be fatal and is something that should be treated as soon as it is recognised.
I'm not sure that her legs will have lost the muscle, but they maybe are surrounded by the tissue that is most likely retaining water.
This may not be the case though, therefore I reckon that the best thing to do is to make an appointment with her Dr and get him to run blood tests to make sure that there is nothing wrong.
The only way to combat any problem that has arisen due to Anorexia is to return to eating a normal diet. I think that you should try and get a referral to a dietician and get them to work out a good meal plan.
Unfortunately I can't be of any more help as I have not come across a problem like this before. I know of anorexics that have lost muscle in their legs, but never of one that while losing the muscle has actually increased in size.
Please feel free to come back if you have any further questions.
