Are the consequential health problems caused by Purging Disorder exactly the same as the health problems caused by Bulimia? Do they differ at all? If so, how?

Bulimia may manifest as Purging Disorder. There are several forms of bulimia, purging being the most well known.
In any event, purging - no matter what the mentality or psychology behind the motivation - is equally damaging to the physical health of the individual.
Incidents of cancer go up significantly, as do chances of spontaneous rupture of the esophagus (often resulting in death). Obviously countless other complications exist as well.

I've lost (& gained)HUNDREDS of lbs over a lifetime, more than 30 years of "professional dieting".
