Anorexia/Eating Disorders/Recovery Time

Question
I've been anorexic for only about a year, and I lost about 30 lbs,
but over the summer I started eating more and I gained basically
all of it back, and then some.
Since about August, I started restricting my eating again but I
didn't really lose any weight this time, I gained. This made me
decide to try to get better; because I don't WANT to have to keep
eating less to lose weight. So anyway, I am about, 10 lbs
overweight right now, and I want to lose THAT weight, because I
just want to be a healthy weight. So, my question is, how will I
ever get my metabolism back to normal so I can be a healthy
weight? I just want to be able to eat normal.

Answer
Ok, what you have done is stalled your metabolism by putting it in starvation mode, it is saving fat because it doesn't know when you are going to not feed it again. So the main thing is to eat healthy. Please go to our web site and look at our food combining pages, it explains how and why it works so well for ed's. It will take time for your body to trust you again, but it will.  Just eat regular meals, don't skip, and especially when doing the food combining you will get the nutrition you need now. You will also need a lot of protein to make up for damage done, for about a year see that you get lot's of protein in any form.
