Answer
Sanah

Sorry it took me awhile to get back to you.  I'm 21 and I remember all too well what it is like to be your age and in high school. But please please DO NOT let some boy determine your self esteem.  I know it seems like the world to you now.    I really do, I'm not going to tell you to get over it because I know it effects you greatly.  If he doesn't like you because of the way you look then he is shallow and doesn't deserve you.  Seriously, you want someone who loves you on the inside and for who you truly are.  If he likes your friend, then really you can't control that....as hard as that is.
You have so much to offer, keep working hard at school and in whatever activities interest you.  Focus on yourself now.  When the time comes for someone worthy of you then it will happen.  I've found that when I'm searching for boyfriend nothing fits my standards.  Yet when I work on myself and my dreams it just seems to happen.  I still haven't found the perfect someone yet.  Keep your standards high and don't just settle for any guy as a boyfriend.
Work on your self confidence because that is truly the most beautiful thing.
