Anorexia/Eating Disorders/binge eating disorder

Question
I have been struggling with binge eating disorder, for about a year a a half.  Even when I'm not hungry, I feel this need to eat.  I've been trying to identify why I feel this way and I can't figure it out.  Sometimes I eat because I'm stressed and other times just because there is food available.  Once I've eaten one thing I can't stop until I am ready to burst.  These are the things I've tried: councelling, anti-depressants, group therapy, self-help books, prayer, naturalpathic medicine and more.  If you have any suggestions as to what else I might try, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for your time.

Answer
ALoha, you can check out our home page and go to self help tips and there are quite a few things there to help out. The neural lingual programming works well. We use hypnosis here to get the root cause of the behavior and that usually fixes the problem. If you have a hypnotherapist close by that deals with eating disorders that would be good.
Our healing retreats are wonderful as the deal with the whole of you, body, mind and spirit. You can check out our retreat offerings too.
There is no one answer as everyone is unique to their problem and their answers.

I know if you find out why you feel empty (emotionally) you will find that you will know why you over feed yourself.
Also food combining helps with the feelings of hunger in general, if you are getting the nutrients from your food, you won't crave unneccessary food.
Let me know if I can help after you have looked at our site and tried the NLP. ALoha and good luck.
