Question
hello thank you for reading this. i think my friend just started to starve herself after being called fat the other day. i noticed that her face has gotten slimmer but thats about all. its been about a week and shes 19, 5'6" and i just wanted to know what to expect to see change physically if she is starving herself(only drinking water and eating an apple a day.)  if you can could you tell me what i should see change in her physically the first and second week.  i know she's tried to diet before but failed because she would binge one day and starve the other day but now im sure she hasn't been eating. THANKS AGAIN

Answer
Well besides the obvious weight loss, dark circles around the eyes, flaky skin, being larthargic, not caring about anything. etc.  The thing about starving yourself is it sets your body up for thinking that you are never going to feed it so it stores fat... making it harder to really lose weight when you try to in the future. Please go to our site and show her the food combining method which is actually a healthy way of staying slim while feeding your body the nutrients that it needs.
Being called fat is a small nuisance by people who have to make them selves feel better because they think so little of themselves.  I think you should both go volunteer at a cancer ward and see that some kids would pray hard to be called fat. Really she needs to think about what she is, what she has not what some idiot decided to say to boost their own ego.
Good luck  Keala
