Anorexia/Eating Disorders/illusion?

Question
Because I worked out a lot in the last year, my arms got big, too big I thought, big with muscle though.  Until this summer when I stopped working out; now they are a lot less muscle.  Of course the mid section is unattractive as well.

There was one guy who told me in the gym that I looked great, but I ignored the comment.  I laugh off things like that.  So my inner voice, I suppose, says "yea right".

Quite possibly, I have issues with self esteem.  One thing I would change about myself..personality.  I am terse, brazen, one-track-minded.

And why exactly do you want to know what day in August I was born?

Bethany

Answer
Bethany,In my practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist I see just about every kind of self value issue. As critical of yourself as you are I find it hard to believe that you are that loathing. Your descriptions of yourself are not very complimentary!  That voice inside of you acts as a sheild to keep people from getting too close. Possibly there is a soft, gentle person inside that is afraid to let anyone in! In my practice I use hypnosis as a tool to help people find out forgotten information that cause them to unconsciously sabbotage their adult lives. In most cases something happened in the childhood to make the individual feel unimportant. We deserve to be loved just the way we are. Possibly when you were just a little girl you were made to believe you have to do something to be lovable. we are not humans doing! We are humsan BEINGS. Most issues are issues of some type of abandonment in the childhood. Even though you are the age you are, you are still 3, 5, 9,13, inside you somewhere. Possibly something happened in your childhood to make you feel less valuable as the next person. I only know that if you were such a terse, brazen, one track minded person, I find it hard to believe that you would have made it this far in your life. P/S I wanted to know the date you were born because my wifes Birthday is August 4th. Thanks for you email.. Robert
