Answer
Hey Fafy!

Yay for the 3 weeks!  Please don't beat yourself up for one slip up!  Nobody ever said recovery was easy, and you will have these hiccups on the road!  Even though I would say I live a more or less normal life and eat well now, I still have occasional hiccups, its about how you deal with them and move on that is important.

Believe me when I say, trying to eat less if anything at all is not a way of trying to recover from bulimia.  All you are doing is swapping one eating disorder for another, and putting yourself at even more risk of health complications.  You need to try and eat small meals often - 'little and often'!!!!

Please do this for yourself, but also for your children!!!  I want you to be able to be happy as a family - all together, well and with healthy attitudes towards food!

Expertise

I am a medical student and have suffered from anorexia and bulimia myself, I am willing to answer questions based on my own experiences. My advice, however, should not be used as a substitute for that of a qualified medical professional.

Experience

I suffered from anorexia from the age of about 10. By the age of 13 I was suffering from bulimia. Now after 10 years of suffering from an eating disorder, I feel that I can say that I'm well on my way with recovery and would just like to be able to share what I have learned with those in similar situations!
