Question
Ive had 'anorexia ' for about a year- 2 years. But despite being addmitted to a general hospital 3 times and an adolescent phsyciatric unit once, i am unable to accept i have anorexia because my weight was never serverely low. But i have all the other tendancies. My lowest weight was 108 pounds and i'm 5'6 and 16 years old. I'm on the road to recovery so my other question was does anorexia ever just 'dissapear' out of your life.

Answer
No I can not say that Anorexia just disapears out of your life. Because to be honest, it will most likely always be in the back of your head- even if you have recovered for several years. Perhaps one day it will no longer run across your head as an option. But since you know it as an easy way out- it will most likely be natural for you to think of doing it again. Maybe one day- that will go away.. with maturity and time- it just might.
