QuestionI am 5'8" 258 pounds. I have a 7 month old daughter. I can't stop eating. No matter what I do i just keep eating. I want to die some days. I get mad at my daughter for my problem. It's not her fault. I need to know how to control my eating habits so that I don't get so depressed and want to kill myself. I am afraid that if the situation is right, it may happen. I want to feel beautiful. I want my clothes to fit. I want to stop this insanity and live a normal life. PLease Help?
AnswerAloha, first of all suicide is never the answer... it may seem like a solution but it just leaves your loved ones ripped apart and your spirit in even more chaos.
We are using a wonderful herb from india that stops sugar cravings... gymnema. It helps to balance the insulin levels in your pancreas too. It helps with carb and sugar intake on a physical level so you can work with the mental part. Sugar is a drug, it makes you depressed and paranoid.
Have you seen anyone about the possibility of post partem depression? Hormones from child birth could be way out of kilter and proper hormones supplements may help.
The eating is probably to fill an emotional void.
We have an excellent holistic program for eating disorders and emotional issues. We also have a good self help site where you might fing some tips to help you deal with every day life.

LIfe is a challenge and it can look really dismal but everything in life happens for a reason... that may sound harsh but it is true.
Try very very hard to listen to what lesson you might be trying to learn here.
If you can choose to be miserable you can also choose to be happy, simple but also true. Everything in life is about how you perceive things, yourself most of all.
The beauty of yourself does not lie in what you see in the mirror but what you see inside.
