i weight 47kg last time i checked thats about 105 pounds i hardly eat anymore i get scared when i put a peace of junk food or any food in my mouth case i put weight on i always look in the mirror at my body and i check my weight constantly i think the main reason i think i am fat is because my waist i think it is a bit big but my mum and dad and everyone call me skinny and i keep asking if they can see my abs i am glad i got this off my chest hope you can help

ANSWER: Have you got guidance teachers or counsellors at school?  If you do, I recommend speaking to them about this soon.

I do not think that you would be diagnosed with anorexia at this time, but would most likley be described as having an eating disorder.

Please think about getting help for this soon!  If you wait, it will be more likely to become a lot harder to treat, and then you will risk health problems!

Please come back if you want to discuss anything further!

All the best

QUESTION: well the main reason is i think i am too fat for a 6-pac would you say i am ? and if u dont think so can you tell me a good way and things i should eat and drink a day thanks

Answer
Well I don't think that starving yourself is going to get you a six-pack!  You need to eat a lot of protein, and drink a lot of water.

The only way to get a six pack is to do a lot of toning exercise on your abdomen as it is achieved through building and strengthening the muscles in your abdomen!

Expertise

I am a medical student and have suffered from anorexia and bulimia myself, I am willing to answer questions based on my own experiences. My advice, however, should not be used as a substitute for that of a qualified medical professional.

Experience

I suffered from anorexia from the age of about 10. By the age of 13 I was suffering from bulimia. Now after 10 years of suffering from an eating disorder, I feel that I can say that I'm well on my way with recovery and would just like to be able to share what I have learned with those in similar situations!
