Question
Ok here it is. I am not underweight, I am still a little over weight but I already lost 80 pounds. I run about 3-5 miles a week now (just starting that a couple weeks ago), But i do taebo all the time. Food wise. I eat 2 biscuits a day, but I am never hungry I absolutely hate food with a passion. The smell of food makes me feel bloated and fat, and I will have to work out. Now the eating the 2 biscuits a day now turning into 1. Some friends are saying I have a problem and I need help fast, but how is it starving if I am not hungry. Yes I do realize that something is wrong with me. I now am a step ahead of my mom. She makes me food and I take it to work since I work all night and I just throw it away. Better yet. I don't have medical insurance til next year so If I wanted to go get help I cant til for another 9 months. What is wrong with me and what am I headed for.

Answer
I just realised that there is a bit more in this question!

I'm not sure how the American health insurance thing works completely - I'm Scottish, thank goodness for our NHS, no matter how bad it can be!

Are there any agencies out there that can help with costs?  Or is it possible to be put on your parents policy or something in the mean time?

I think that you should go to www.somethingfishy.org and have a look at their treatment finder and see what is available in your area.  They also have message boards that you can join. There, you can post a question (providing it isn't a medical one) such as what have other people done that haven't had insurance, and see what the others have done.  I think it is quite common amongst the American members to not have insurance, or have insurance that doesn't cover their treatment, so maybe it is worth having a look to see how others have managed it!

Expertise

I am a medical student and have suffered from anorexia and bulimia myself, I am willing to answer questions based on my own experiences. My advice, however, should not be used as a substitute for that of a qualified medical professional.

Experience

I suffered from anorexia from the age of about 10. By the age of 13 I was suffering from bulimia. Now after 10 years of suffering from an eating disorder, I feel that I can say that I'm well on my way with recovery and would just like to be able to share what I have learned with those in similar situations!
