Answer
I think that you should try and get the tests done - could be an intolerance to wheat or dairy (they are the most common) or Irritable Bowel Syndrome or something along those lines.

It was about 4 years before I was sent to a Neuro specialist.  I saw him a year past December and he diagnosed functional seziures.  I was briefly put on epilepsy meds before I met with the Neuro Doc, but they did nothing for me.
I don't think that my eating habits cause them directly, but I think that the stress that I am going through when my eating is a mess may contribute.  I don't know, maybe there is something more physically wrong when I'm eating badly that causes them, but I am happy to go along with their explanation for my condition just now.

Expertise

I am a medical student and have suffered from anorexia and bulimia myself, I am willing to answer questions based on my own experiences. My advice, however, should not be used as a substitute for that of a qualified medical professional.

Experience

I suffered from anorexia from the age of about 10. By the age of 13 I was suffering from bulimia. Now after 10 years of suffering from an eating disorder, I feel that I can say that I'm well on my way with recovery and would just like to be able to share what I have learned with those in similar situations!
