Question
Does one's cultural and social envirorment dictate the type of religion practiced?

Answer
Hi Stefanie,

A very good question.  As children we learn our values and value system (religion) from our parents and adults around us.  Since we are not aware of the larger society around us nor the culture into which we were born until much later, it is the reverse that tends to be true.   I hope this makes sense to you.
