Question Assuming the 'out of Africa' theory of mankind is true, what accounts for the different appearances of man with respect to skin colour, cranial shape and other physical dissimilarities?
Answer Hi William,
Since all "colors and types" of modern human can interbreed and succeed in rearing children, this means that these colors and types are all well within our genetic make up and that these differences are environmentally produced or perhaps strengthened by cultural reinforcement. It is known that some sub-populations were isolated from others which may have lead to this differentiation.
