Answer
Hi Valentine,

Modern Humans have only been around for the last 200,000 years.  Some earlier hominids are older.  The oldest are some 4 million years old.  Humans did NOT live during the time of Dinosaurs.  Dinosaurs died out some 65 million years ago as a result of a mass extinction caused by an asteroid hitting the earth.  Fossils of humans and other early hominids can be found in sites that are mixed up due to differential erosion but this does not happen often.  For human fossils, there are several dating methods unless the bone has completely converted to stone.  Then it is a factor of finding other materials that can be dated such as the hydralization layer on flint or obsidian artifacts.  If charcoal was found with the bones then this can be dated using Carbon 14 dating.  Potassium Argon dating can be done under special circumstances.  There are several labs around the world that have been certified for this kind of work.  One is at Oxford in the UK another is in the US at Stanford.

Good Luck.
