QuestionI have questions about evolution. I hope you could answer them and email the answers in my email address. Here's my questions:
1. Who is Charles Darwin? Explain his natural selection theory.
2. Identify or name at least 3 human remain that will justify our evolution and descrive the importance of each.
3. explain and justify the difference of human from other living things, in terms of our capacity to think and survive.
thanks...
AnswerKerstin, I typically do not answer school questions directly. You should do the necessary research so that you learn by reading the information.
1) Charles Darwin has lots of stuff on the internet including his natural selection theory. Just go to www.google.com and read about him, his voyage on the Beagle and is discoveries on the Galapagos Islands and the other islands of the pacific.
2) This may be a bit more difficult to find however, if you have access to the internet or to National Geographics at your school or the Library, then you can find a lot on line or in NG. In fact, NG has been running a series over the last 10 years about human fossils and our evolution as we gain a better understanding of the subject. But look up Neaderthal, Cro Magnon, Australapithicus, to help you on your way.
3) Well, this one you should be able to do on your own but among those features of Humans is the capacity to adapt to new environments, social conditions and institutions. In fact, we create institutions and no other animals do.
