Question
Regarding question 2, you said that most studies indicates that the greatest degree of human genetic diversity is Africa.can you be more specific?in the sense of is it South,North or maybe some other specific regions?

Derrick

Answer
Dear Derrick
It gets complicated when you try to narrow down genetic variability within Africa.  Mitochondrial and Nuclear DNA diversity may give differing results.  I have read some studies pointing towards Southern Africa and others pointing towards East Africa.  I don't think there is a consensus among molecular anthropologists on this point.
