Question
i've collected few stones, i wish to know if they are man-made, for what purpose and when. is it possible to send a photo together with my question? thanks.

Answer
Dear Shlomo,
You can email me the photos, and I'll have a look, but it is really difficult to make an authoritative identification from photos.  Your best bet is to take them to an archaeologist at either a museum or a college/university near you.  If you follow up with an email indicating where you live, I can see if I know a stone tool expert who lives near you.
Sincerely
John Shea
